Mavora Studio is a sole proprietorship based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, operating online as Mavora Studio (mavorastudio.shop).
How this started
A flat with one north-facing window and four dead succulents on the sill, each of which had been sold as unkillable. They were not unkillable; they simply needed light that the room did not have and never would.
Faux was the honest answer, but the faux on sale was either obviously plastic or photographed so carefully that you could not tell what you were buying. So we started shooting every piece under ordinary room light, from the side, without styling.
A faux plant is a decorative object. Sold as anything more than that, it disappoints twice.
Our commitment
Described as artificial, everywhere
Every listing, title and photograph says faux or artificial. Nothing we sell is a living plant, nothing here is sold as one, and no listing implies otherwise.

Each piece is shot from the side under ordinary indoor light as well as from above, because the angle a faux succulent looks least convincing from is exactly the angle a product photograph usually avoids.
Materials and pot type stated
Whether the leaves are PE, PVC or fabric, and whether the pot is ceramic, concrete or plastic, is written on the page along with the measured height and pot diameter.
What faux will and will not do
A good faux succulent solves a dark corner and a travel schedule. It does not clean air, it does not improve over time, and it will fade if it sits in direct sun through a summer. Where a piece is only convincing at a distance we say so, rather than let the photograph do the lying.
We trade under our own name and stock no other company’s branded ranges. Nothing here is an official version of anything, no piece is described as real, and there is no warranty beyond your statutory rights.
Online only
There is no showroom and no walk-in counter. Mavora Studio trades entirely online and ships across India from Jaipur, Rajasthan, which keeps overheads off the price of the goods.
